Ijaw cultural advocate, Fred Brisibe has shared an account of witnessing High Chief Kestin Pondi's commitment to his doctoral studies at the University of Benin (UNIBEN), describing the encounter as a testament to discipline amid a demanding schedule.
According to Brisibe, the encounter occurred while he accompanied Eric Omare, PhD, on one of several trips to the university in connection with Omare's thesis defense date. During the visit, Brisibe recounted seeing Chief Pondi rushing to attend lectures with visible urgency.
